Convention Don*t Forget! will be held at the Rosen Centre
Hotel in Orlando, FL
June 13-16. Room rates are
$134, plus tax, per night, for a single or double room; book by May 8, 2008 to
for special rate. Book your reservation by calling 800/204-7234. Tell the
reservations desk you are attending the NAMI convention. Go to NAMI.org
to register for the convention. Registration: $195 if paid before March 1,
2008. Members in Recovery Registration: $125 if paid before May 16, 2008-$135
if paid after May 16, 2008
Scholarships AVAILABLE: Are you a member in recovery
and interested in going to the conference? There are scholarships available but
you must let Nancy (nano6@cox.net) know very soon if you are interested because
they are limited.
We
have a storage unit for materials for our classes and groups. It is at Airtight Self
Storage /3356 Ironbound Road/ Williamsburg. The entry code is 6023# (pound)
6023*(star). After entering the gate, go straight until the end of the
building, and then turn right, it is the last door on the right to enter the
building (It is building G). We are the first storage unit on the left (113)
once you go into the building. To get in the unit, the lockÕs code is 6023,
then you press on the top of the lock for it to open. You may leave your
supplies in there as neatly as possible. Connie is purchasing shelves for us to
use & Hannah is helping to coordinate the organization in the unit once the
shelves are in.
